On the 17th June 2019 I set out from Shanklin on the Isle of Wight on a fifteen foot open sailing catamaran to see if I could get round the mainland of Great Britain without dying.

This web site is designed as an accompaniment to the book. You can view the tracks for every second of my trip except for a midnight sail around the Mull of Kintyre when my GPS watch ran out of juice.
The pictorial edition of the book has many pictures of my voyage. None of those images (apart from the cover picture and the picture at Pevensey Bay) are on this web site.
